ac power supply adapter for hp pavilion
the 3 prong power plug for the wall was shaped oddly and short so it did not supply the electricity needed for the laptop. the part i really needed was the connection for the laptop. i dismantled the cord at the connection and used my old electrical connection to attach to the laptop connection and it worked. :2010-09-18 08:33:15

Poor quality
At first I thought all was well it shipped fast and worked great....but after a few weeks the cord fell apart in two places. Also the part that plugs into the computer did not quite fit right. Now I have to position the cord just right and not touch it to maintain a charge. I did not treat it badly it did not see any extraordinary wear and tear it just apparently is cheaply made. :2010-09-15 23:54:46

False Advertising
i currently own to HP laptops...and HP Pavilion DV6000 and a DV9500. They both take the same charger this one is not it. i ordered it and it may be the same power requirements but the prong does not fit in the either of the computers. these computers require the prong part number sps 414136-001. hope i helped someone out there... :2010-09-15 23:54:46
